About Us

Founded in 1968, V. Wilkinson & Son is a family run Painters and Decorators, priding themselves on their quality and professionalism.  With many years of experience, there is no project which can't be tackled by our team.

In 1995, V. Wilkinson & Son were appointed members of the "Quality Guild" scheme, and just a year later in 1996 were vetted to become members of the "Dulux Select Trade Scheme", with Sean joining the board of the Select Decorating Scheme in 1997. 

We have now been members of both schemes for over 10 years, and are West Cumbria's longest serving member of the Dulux Select Trade scheme, achievements of which we are justifiably proud. In 2007 Quality Guild was Replaced in our business by joining the "Trustmark"

As well as painting and decorating, we can also provide advice on which papers and paints will suit your project, and if necessary, can design, manufacture and hang matching curtains for your wallcoverings.
